YATRA research project
Paid research surveys
We are a student research project studying how people in India actually plan and book travel. Taking part is anonymous, needs no sign-in, and is paid. You do not need to be a frequent traveller — how you plan an occasional trip is just as useful to us.

How payment works
- What decides the amount
- How much thought the answers show: whether the questions were read, whether time was spent where a question needed it, and whether the choices are consistent with each other. Finishing honestly is paid at the floor regardless.
- What does not decide it
- Which options you pick. There are no correct answers in these studies — several are trade-offs where we are measuring what you would genuinely choose. Agreeing with what sounds sensible earns nothing extra.
- When it is paid
- After the study closes, in one batch, by UPI. You give a UPI ID or a phone number on the last screen if you want paying; it is stored apart from your answers and is not needed to take part.
